About us
EET is a start-up in the field of renewable energy and a pioneer in the development of energy storage solutions for plugin balcony solar. Our innovative product SolMate® can be set up effortlessly by anyone, with plug-and-play technology that eliminates the need for a professional installer. What makes our product truly unique is our patented energy measurement technology powered by advanced machine learning to maximize solar self-consumption. We have ambitious goals for our new product generation and are looking for colleagues who want to join us on this mission.
As part of the development team, you will develop the software running on our batteries, our SolMate-cloud and our apps. We all work devOps full stack, while also valuing each team member’s specialized skills.
Your responsibilities
- Design and implementation of all software components for our SolMate (SOA, Raspberry Pi 4)
- Development and operation of our SolMate-cloud (REST-API/Websockets)
- Design and implementation of all customer-facing functionalities in our apps (mobile apps and web app)
- Collaboration with firmware and hardware developers for seamless integration of the software into our storage system
What makes you a great fit
- Solid technical knowledge or completed education in a software-related field (Technical University or University of Applied Sciences)
- Knowledge of modern software architecture, databases, testing and CI/CD
- Interest in full-stack development and experience with most of the following technologies: Python (SQLAlchemy, Flask), Redis, JavaScript (Vue), PostgreSQL/SQLite, Linux, Docker and Cordova
- Agile mindset, strong sense of ownership and understanding of the big picture

For legal reasons, we are obliged to point out that the minimum salary for this position under the collective agreement is € 3,341.50 gross per month (full-time basis, 38.5 hours). For this position we offer a minimum salary of € 4,000.00 gross per month and are happy to provide a voluntary overpayment based on qualifications and professional experience.
