EET is a start-up in the field of renewable energy and a pioneer in the development of energy storage solutions for plugin balcony solar. Our innovative product SolMate® can be set up effortlessly by anyone, with plug-and-play technology that eliminates the need for a professional installer. What makes our product truly unique is our patented energy measurement technology powered by advanced machine learning to maximize solar self-consumption. As part of the development team, you will be responsible for testing and validation activities for low-voltage electronics and embedded systems. This role involves field testing, measurement setup, prototyping, and troubleshooting. Key technologies include Python scripting, Linux systems, and microcontroller programming (e.g., rp2040). Your work will ensure products meet high-quality standards.
Your responsibilities
- Field Testing: Plan and perform field tests, fix issues, and document everything accurately.
- Electronics & Measurement: Build, test, and fine-tune circuits, sensors, and measurement tools.
- Microcontroller Programming: Write firmware for devices like RP2040 and ESP32 to connect sensors and other components.
- Python Scripting: Use Python for automating tests, analyse data, and improving processes.
- Linux Familiarity: Work with Linux systems to manage files and adjust settings.
- Reporting: Create clear reports, keep records, and share results with the team.
What makes you a great fit
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or Higher technical college for Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
- Prior lab or field test experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Electronics: Low-voltage systems, sensors, and troubleshooting.
- Measurement & Calibration: Oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data loggers.
- Microcontrollers: Firmware for RP2040, ARM Cortex, ESP32.
- Python: Basic scripting for automation and analysis.
- Linux: Command-line operations and light system administration.
- Preferred:
- Knowledge of Git, communication protocols (UART, SPI, CAN), and networking basics
- Soft Skills:
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
- Strong communication skills in German and English.

For legal reasons, we are obliged to point out that the minimum salary for this position under the collective agreement is € 2.668,69 gross per month (full-time basis, 38.5 hours). For this position we offer a minimum salary of € 3,000.00 gross per month and are happy to provide a voluntary overpayment based on qualifications and professional experience.
